Hi Kate! No, unfortunately I never heard about it either. Sorry I couldn’t be of any help.

I used to work for a Hungarian whose housekeeper made this wonderful cheesecake slice. It was encased in a sweet pastry and the cheesecake was mixed with cherries and mixed fruit, ie {sultanas, raisins etc}. I think the fruit was soaked in a red wine the night before. I’ve searched lots of recipe sites to no avail, but wondered if with your Romanian background you may know of a similar recipe.

Yes, all my recipes include metric measurements! Just click the “Metric” button in the recipe card, and it will automatically convert the measurements for you.

Yes, a 6-quart slow cooker should fit a doubled recipe, but be sure not to fill it more than two-thirds full for even cooking. You may need to adjust the cooking time slightly; start checking for doneness about 30 minutes earlier than the original recipe suggests.

Do you think it will all fit in ONE 6qt slow cooker? Do you think I’ll have to adjust the time? Thank you. Please reply: leela303@aol.com…..I’m making it today, Sat. Oct. 12. Has anyone else doubled it, and can answer this question? Please email me.
