Balla Italian Soul, the award-winning coastal Italian destination located inside SAHARA Las Vegas, unveils its brand new dinner menu with a focus on fresh, seasonal flavors and culinary artistry.

Blending traditional Italian cooking techniques with a contemporary approach, standout dishes from the new menu include the Braised Lamb Pappardelle, a comforting and hearty pasta elevated with baby kale and demi tomatoes, and the Skull Island Prawns, perfectly paired with heirloom beans and a fennel slaw. Guests can also indulge with the Truffle Macaroni, featuring winter black truffles and caciocavallo cheese, or savor the deep, complex flavors of the Beef Short Rib for Two, slow-cooked with black garlic and barolo jus.

“For me, Italian cuisine is all about vibrant flavors and the finest ingredients, prepared with finesse,” said chef Shawn McClain, Balla Italian Soul. “Our new menu reflects that spirit, featuring seasonally-driven salads, a parade of handmade pastas, seafood and steaks from our wood fired grill and finishing with classically-inspired desserts. The Curtis, a pop-culture-inspired hotel located in downtown Denver, is embarking on a multimillion-dollar renovation that will entirely transform the guest experience. The beloved “Stay Happy” Denver destination is currently undergoing a complete redesign of its 15 hyperthemed floors, including all guest rooms, suites and meeting and event spaces to infuse vibrant art, playful nostalgia and a dose of whimsical rebellion into every inch of the property.
Once the renovation is complete in late spring of 2025, the Curtis will be ready to reintroduce itself as the ultimate destination for pop culture enthusiasts, art lovers and kids at heart. Drawing inspiration from the hotel’s commitment to artful hospitality and creating places that people go to, not through, the renovation will ensure the Curtis isn’t just about staying somewhere – it’s about stepping into a new adventure. Guests can choose from various creatively themed floors such as Camp Curtis, Play With Your Food, Life of the Party, Knock on Wood on the hotel’s 13th floor and more.
The vision for this reimagination was created by Sage Studio, Sage Hospitality Group’s in-house creative team, whose leadership ensures that the Curtis continues to deliver on the property’s commitment to keeping Denver happy.
“This renovation is all about creative exploration,” said Lizzie Raudenbush, chief happiness officer a.k.a general manager at the Curtis. “We’re infusing every corner of the Curtis with new energy and interactive elements, so that guests visiting from near and far are comfortable to express their quirky, unfiltered selves and leave with a smile and a story to tell. Each of the 13 hyperthemed guest floors has its own immersive feel, crafted to spark memories and create new ones!”
As the elevator doors open on each themed floor, guests are greeted by a vibrant landing that sets the stage with decor and details perfectly aligned to the unique theme. Guests can also expect every room to feature curated artwork, themed clothing items and interactive games to reflect the overarching theme of the floor, offering guests a fully engaging stay like no other. The accompanying hyperthemed suites will take each floor theme to the next level with even more over-the-top decor and cinematic elements to transport guests into a new world of play.
For example, when staying on the “Camp Curtis” floor, guests can expect to be transported straight to the nostalgic charm of their favorite sleepaway camp, with an abundance of wood grain accents, cozy plaid decor and faux animal heads along the walls. To further enhance the experience, the hyper themed signature suite on this floor features a night sky with glow-in-the-dark stars, creating an immersive, outdoorsy atmosphere that truly captures that summertime magic.
The hotel’s iconic meeting and event spaces are also getting a lively facelift to buck the “boring boardroom” stereotype. The Curtis is crafting spaces that cater to creative thinkers and business leaders who believe meetings should be as exciting as they are productive. The Boca Raton, South Florida’s iconic private club and resort, announces the debut of the reimagined Beach Club, with reservations available beginning December 2024. When the $120 million investment is complete, the luxury oceanfront escape will seamlessly connect to its golden beach backdrop through a stunning redesign and curated experiences.

Resort guests and club members will set their own pace at Beach Club with new restaurants, a cocktail lounge and café, new fitness facility, dynamic oceanside event spaces, and a transformation of guest rooms and suites overlooking a half-mile stretch of private beach along the Atlantic Ocean.

“Beach Club has long been recognized as one of the most coveted beachside resort destinations in South Florida, and this evolution is poised to captivate a whole new category of discerning travelers while appealing to our legacy guests,” said Daniel A. Hostettler, President & CEO of The Boca Raton. “We are partnering with top designers and leading industry minds to create intriguing new offerings that will inspire. The new Beach Club will reflect the very best in design, dining, and experience—at the only beachfront resort in Boca Raton.”

Beach Club’s 210 spacious guest rooms and suites will showcase a spectacular design that blurs the lines between interiors and outdoors, complete with floor-to-ceiling ocean or Intracoastal views. The light-filled accommodations will embrace the sea breeze and natural textures, including honed marble and cerused woods complemented by vibrant coral velvet accents.

Among the elevated in-room amenities, a wet bar with water filtration system will invite guests to stay hydrated on the go. Beach Club will triple its quantity of suites, including the Grand Suite + Lanai that features one- and two-bedroom options that flow into expansive outdoor poolside living spaces with lounge seating, granting guests easy access to the fresh salt air from their private patios.

Beach Club will offer distinct oceanfront food and drink options.

The property’s beloved culinary destination, Marisol, will see a newly designed indoor-outdoor setting serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner just steps from the ocean. Fresh Mediterranean fare will appeal to the whole family. And after dinner, Marisol’s bar—a dramatic centerpiece of the restaurant’s design—will be a social hub to enjoy curated cocktails prepared with precision. Inspired by iconic coastal destinations, a new sand-side dining experience, Onda, will spotlight a new culinarian each winter season. In its opening season, guests at Onda will dine on classic island flavors.

Located just beyond Beach Club’s entrance, Living Room will feature world-class mixologists hand-crafting elegant evening aperitifs amid a mesmerizing atmosphere that begets intimate conversations. For a chance to sit back among the stars, an outdoor terrace overlooks the seascape. During daylight hours, guests will refresh and ruminate at Living Room’s café, a sunny space offering house-made pastries, light bites, and gourmet coffee.

The poolside White Bar is an open-air gathering spot with a relaxed atmosphere, featuring creative cocktails and an extensive wine list to be enjoyed while catching up with friends or catching the big game. Situated nearby, Ocean Market features quick gourmet bites and ice cream, allowing guests to return to their beach adventures without missing a beat.

CURATED EXPERIENCES

Beach Club will offer an extensive selection of amenities and services rooted in the spirit of the coastal lifestyle.  For a luxury experience with a touch of retro chic, Beach Club will be home to an exclusive VesBAR fleet, repurposed 1960s Vespas helmed by a cadre of skilled bartenders. The hotel’s distinct programming will celebrate intentional moments from day to night, including an immersive Ritual Series beginning with First Light oceanside wellness classes, a Sunset Ritual marking the evening transition with a signature soundtrack and artisanal aperitifs, and Night’s End, a special late-night wind down tradition.

Guests who just can’t wait to be king will feel atop Pride Rock from the comfort of THE LION KING’s Royal Suite at Hilton New York Times Square, conveniently located three blocks away from Minskoff Theatre where guests can see the magic come to life on Broadway.

THE LION KING’s Royal Suite

The awe-inspiring spacious one-king one-bedroom deluxe suite allows guests to experience the peace and beauty of the Pride Lands. Upon arrival to the suite, guests are immediately transported to the Serengeti with details paying homage to Disney’s THE LION KING on Broadway, including large woven basket art, plants nodding to the sweeping grass that spreads across Africa’s plains, hand-painted Rafiki-inspired patterns that embellish the room’s furnishings and a large Rafiki sketch print framing the suite’s entryway. Guests will also encounter fabrics used in the musical displayed on soft goods including rugs, pillows and bedding, with wood touches decorating the space.

Throughout the suite, Pan-Asian-inspired woven baskets adorn the walls, bird puppets fly from the ceiling and hand-painted patterned chairs provide a soft place for guests to land while taking in framed costume sketches from the musical throughout the suite. In the bathroom, guests will find a lush, vibrant jungle oasis with artificial plants, contrasted by the warm Serengeti elements in the room.

Designed by Chicago-based firm, The Gettys Group, the interior public space design is inspired by old and new NYC – The Gilded Age meets MoMA in the heart of Times Square. Upon arrival to the hotel, the transformed ground and sky lobbies feature seasonal art installations curated by Celine Mo of Dinner Gallery, a contemporary gallery dedicated to developing and presenting emerging artists.

As guests take the journey to the sky lobby 15 floors above Times Square, they will be welcomed into a brand-new bar and lounge, 42nd & Sky, which overlooks Times Square and features craft cocktails and an elevated bar menu from Executive Chef Jason Routzahn. Here, guests can also indulge in the Hakuna Manhattan and Serengeti Sunrise.
